Yoga in Action creates and delivers yoga and mindfulness meditation programs to corporates to support the wellbeing of their staff while making a social impact. We provide highly qualified yoga teachers who deliver a range of program options to suit your needs, including workshops, weekly yoga and mindfulness classes in the form of 8-week courses or 1 off events.
If your organisation is invested in supporting the mental health wellbeing of your team, improving the effectiveness and creativity of your team and in making a positive social impact, we can develop a yoga and mindfulness based meditation program tailored to your needs.

PROGRAMS WITH A TRAUMA SENSITIVE FOCUS
We come to you
Yoga in Action creates and delivers yoga and mindfulness meditation programs to organisations, primarily with a trauma informed focus. We provide highly skilled teachers who work to provide a safe and welcoming space for all people, regardless of background and life experience.
The main purpose of each class is to utilise yoga forms in order to become more aware of how and what we feel in our bodies, and to feel empowered and actively make choices about what we do with our bodies. We endeavour to make all of our classes accessible to everybody, so all are welcome and no experience is necessary.
Throughout the program, we will safely explore having and feeling our our body through the many tools yoga has to offer. These will include noticing and building awareness, moving, breathing, strengthening, stretching and resting. Each class is designed to create a safe space where the teacher provides information, options and guidance around using these tools to focus on how they may feel or affect the body (noticing the feet on the ground or how the breath is moving for example). The entire time, students have choice around when and how to move their bodies. Most session range from 30 to 60 minutes in duration and can be offered in an 8 week series.
PRIVATES AND SMALL GROUPS
You come to us
If you are an individual or small group that would like private Trauma Sensitive Informed Yoga and Mindfulness based Meditation sessions, but do not have the appropriate space, we can organise tailored classes in a safe and appropriate setting.
